    Revert "FM2-665 Adjust auto-proxy to work with 2.8.x, see TRUNK-6382 (#572)"
    This reverts commit f0f3b91856e6fd1d7d4b044ac3892bf77a99f1c8 and restores
    the auto-proxy for now, as this appears to function better with the 2.x RefApp
